we baked and built a life-size ping pong table made out of ginger bread

Every year Rethink makes an elaborate ‘holiday thing’ to share with clients and friends. In 2016, I decided to build a life size Ping Pong table to go along with one of our agency philosophies. The ping pong ball theory – which you can learn about by watching the video above.

We hired a food stylist to come into our office kitchen and bake copious amounts of ginger bread and icing. She along with members of our team worked tirelessly to fabricate the stand, install the cookie panels and decorate the entire edible thing with a coma-inducing amount of icing.

The result was unreal. And when I say that, I mean the total opposite. It was very much real. After it had finished drying we actually played on it. Matched were won. Victors conquered. Losers wept. Everyone was able to score a piece of it as we tore it apart and packaged it up to ship to our clients along with a link to the video.
